I loved Book one of the Old Kingdom Ardania series. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the characters, and while the plot is suspenseful, there's some dark twists too, and a lot of surprises. I bought both of the books, for vacation, and I'm now deep into book 2, Shattered Memories. Preston Robison, I hope you have books 3 and 4 on the way!!Product details

Great read
This book is very well written. The author has created a mature, engaging plot that is in no way confusing (something that can't be said for some fantasy fiction novels I've read recently) and the characters and locations are complex and realistic. I had a hard time putting the book down once I started reading; the author arranges his words in such a way as to give you a crystal clear image of what's happening. From Meyral and company's escapades in the cities of Tem and Bonthon, to their wilderness trecks towards the Northern Federation, you can picture yourself taking part in every event in this plot. In my honest opinion, this is what separates "good" tales from "amazing" tales.
Very well done and I highly recommend reading; you won't be disappointed!
Good story, really my only beef is they seem to speak in modern colloquialism that jars you out of the fantasy. Worth a read though.
Love it. If you like any sort of fantasy you'll love this series. Can't wait for more!
